Initially developed as a funding collaborative in which public and private grantmakers pooled resources to bring a primary prevention focus to the nation’s violence problems, ICP has raised more than $20 million in support since 1995. ICP has also sponsored two national conferences, which attracted nearly 500 grantmakers and other experts in violence prevention.
